If the batteries in your Key Fob are low, follow the steps outlined below to replace them.
If the buttons on the Key Fob are pressed accidentally this can cause the alarm panel to arm, or disarm, it can even accidentally set off a panic alarm. The Key Fob is most commonly accidentally activated when the it is stored in a pocket or purse, and pressure is put on the buttons. If this is happening locate the Key Fobs, make sure that the buttons are not being pressed, and also make sure that the buttons are not stuck.
If the Key Fob is sending a false alarm, first make sure that you are not accidentally pressing the panic button because the fob is in your pocket, or a purse, or something similar. After that, make sure that the panic button is not stuck. If none of these things are taking place, and the false alarms continue, contact Technical Support. Contact Us
If your Key Fob is lost or stolen you will want to get it deactivated as soon as possible in order to maintain the security of your home. Please call Technical Support for assistance with deleting the Key Fob out of the panel.Contact Us
